Kishwaukee Valley N Scale Railroad

The KV&EC's N scale layout is a freelanced mountain railroad built in a 5 x 24 foot irregular space. Two years ago the layout just about doubled in space with a new addition. Three separate mainlines traverse the layout along with a lengthy point to point trolley line. Scenery features include a huge mountain, with "storm" back drop, city scene, town scene, several water scenes, and a long stretch of fully strung high power lines. A large coal mine, power plant and grain distributor highlight the layout's industrial base. Track work and wiring are 80% complete and scenery 40% complete on the layout.
