Kishwaukee Valley HO Scale Railroad

The Kishwaukee Valley and Eakin Creek Club's freelanced HO model railroad measures 23 x 36 feet with a 444 foot mainline. The layout is a large folded dog bone with staging loops and some main line routing hidden on a lower level, and the operational and scenic portions of the layout on the upper level. The layout is 100% sceniced with mountain, rural, wharf, and two large city scenes with working grade crossing signals and gates. The layout also features a large double ended classification yard, engine terminal, industrial switching areas, two branch lines, and coal mine/power plant--ins/outs operation. At this writing, op sessions have just started. NCC DCC with plug in and some wireless throttles.
