Bob Perrin Illinois Central Railroad - HO Scale

Bob's St. Louis Division of the IC has 21 scale miles (1,300 feet) of mainline replicating each grade crossing, culvert, farm road, building and town as they were in a real life in down-state Illinois between DuQuoin and Carbondale in 1966. The heavy traffic of the "Mainline of Mid-America" winds through a large 32 ft x 92 ft basement. Also replicated is the IC's Timetable & Train Order authority (1966), and CTC in fully-signaled territory. The layout includes the branch line to St. Louis which feeds the mainline at DuQuoin to get to/from New Orleans or Chicago. Recent additions include the big bridge crossing the Big Muddy. Track is 100% complete and scenery 20% complete.
